Thank you for choosing Extropolis Corp. (“Extropolis,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using wastehunter.app and all other websites or digital mediums owned and maintained by Extropolis in connection with the Wastehunter product (the “Website”), users (“you,” “your,” or “their”) agree to be bound to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), which include our Privacy Policy. Through our Website, we provide a financial statement analysis service powered by artificial intelligence (“Services”). You may access the Website and use the free analysis features without registering or providing any personal information.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this Website, or any portion thereof, without notice. These Terms may be updated from time to time. Such modifications are effective upon posting to the Website, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the Terms in effect at that time.

If you do not agree to all of these Terms, then please do not access or use the Website or any portion of it. By using all or any part of the Website or purchasing any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If these Terms are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease using the Website.

1. Description of Services

Wastehunter is a financial statement analysis tool that works as follows:

1. PDF Upload & Extraction (Client-Side): You upload PDF bank or credit card statements. These files are processed entirely in your web browser — they are never uploaded to our servers.
2. Free AI Analysis: The extracted text from your statements is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for AI-powered analysis at no cost. You receive a comprehensive report identifying recurring charges, spending categories, quick wins, and your invisible base — all free.
3. Optional $3 Deep Dive: You may optionally pay $3 to unlock additional deep-dive sections of your report, including behavioral patterns, anomaly detection, ranked savings recommendations with projections, and a downloadable PDF/CSV report.
4. Session Expiration: All session data, including extracted text and generated reports, is automatically and permanently deleted after 1 hour.

2. Website Access and Electronic Communication

The Website is controlled and operated by us from the United States. We make no representation that any part of the Website or Services is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who choose to access the Website from other locations do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

We reserve the right to limit the availability of the Website and/or Services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction at any time and in our sole discretion, including if we reasonably believe: (i) you have violated these Terms; (ii) you create risk or possible legal exposure for us; or (iii) our provision of the Website is no longer commercially viable.

Consistent with COPPA, we do not intend to market the Website or Services to children under thirteen (13) years of age. If you are under 13, you are not authorized to use the Website and Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with the approval of your parent or guardian.

3. No Account Required

Wastehunter does not require you to create a user account, provide an email address, or register in any way. The Services are designed to be used anonymously. No login credentials are created or stored.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe, our designated third-party payment provider. When you purchase a report, you are redirected to Stripe’s hosted checkout page. We never see, handle, or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. Your payment is governed by Stripe’s Terms of Service.

Pricing

Wastehunter provides a free AI-powered spending analysis. An optional $3 deep-dive upgrade unlocks additional report sections. Current pricing is displayed on the Website. Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars. Purchases may be subject to applicable sales tax or similar taxes as required by law.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

No Subscriptions or Recurring Billing

Wastehunter uses one-time payments only. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, auto-renewals, or free trials. The optional $3 deep-dive is a single transaction.

Refund Policy

• Automatic Refunds for Failed Deep Dive: If the deep-dive unlock fails for any technical reason after payment, your payment is automatically refunded. No action is required.
• Quality Issues: If you receive a deep-dive report but believe it contains significant quality issues, contact us within 24 hours of purchase. We will review your request and may issue a refund at our sole discretion.
• All Other Sales Are Final: Except as described above, all purchases are final.

Currency

All fees are quoted and must be paid in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

5. Third-Party AI Provider

Anthropic’s Claude API

The AI analysis powering Wastehunter is provided by Anthropic’s Claude API. By using the free analysis or purchasing the deep-dive upgrade, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The extracted text from your financial statements will be sent to Anthropic’s servers for processing.
• Anthropic’s handling of this data is governed by Anthropic’s Usage Policy and Anthropic’s Privacy Policy, not by these Terms.
• As of the date of these Terms, according to Anthropic’s current policies, API data is not used to train their AI models. However, Anthropic may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for trust and safety purposes. These policies are subject to change by Anthropic at any time.
• We have no control over Anthropic’s data retention, processing, or security practices.
• We strongly encourage you to review Anthropic’s policies before using Wastehunter.

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that your payment information is provided directly to Stripe and is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Stripe’s Terms of Service.

6. Content Ownership and Restrictions

Our Content

The Website, including but not limited to text, images, design, layout, user interface, and software (collectively, “Content”), belongs to Extropolis or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Reports

The AI-generated reports you receive are for your personal use. You may save, print, and share your own reports. However, you may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the reports or the underlying analysis methodology.

Your Uploaded Data

You retain all ownership of your financial statements and the data contained therein. By using the Services, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process the extracted text solely for generating your report. This license terminates automatically when your session expires (within 1 hour).

Restrictions on Use

You may not:

• Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Website or our computer systems
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or breach security measures
• Use the Website to send altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Website or the access of any user
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software used in the Website
• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Circumvent any rate limiting, access controls, or payment requirements
• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Abuse the free analysis service (e.g., excessive automated requests)
• Use the Services to process documents that are not financial statements
• Encourage or enable any other individual to do any of the foregoing

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these provisions, including blocking access to the Website and reporting violations to law enforcement.

7. Accuracy and Financial Disclaimer

Not Financial Advice

Wastehunter is not a financial advisor, accountant, tax preparer, or financial planner. The reports generated by the Services are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision. The AI analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You should consult with a qualified financial professional before making any financial decisions based on information provided by the Services.

AI Limitations

The reports are generated by an AI model that:

• May occasionally misclassify transactions or merchants
• May not detect all recurring charges or spending patterns
• Relies on the quality and completeness of the text extracted from your PDF statements
• May produce different results if the same statements are analyzed multiple times
• Does not have access to your actual bank account or financial records beyond what is contained in the uploaded statements

All amounts, categories, and recommendations are derived from the extracted text and provided on an “as-is” basis.

8. Copyright and Trademarks

Extropolis respects copyright and other intellectual property rights. The Website and Content are the exclusive property of Extropolis and our licensors.

If you believe that material on the Website infringes your copyright, please send a notification to [email protected] containing:

• An electronic or physical signature of the authorized representative
• A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• A description of where the infringing material is located on the Website
• Your address, telephone number, and email address
• A good faith belief statement that the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notice: If you believe that content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to [email protected] containing: your signature; identification of the removed content and its prior location; a good faith belief statement; and your contact information with consent to Delaware federal court jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringer Policy: In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Extropolis has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website, Services, and Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: the Website or Services will be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis; the AI-generated reports will be accurate, complete, or free of errors; defects will be corrected; the Website is free of viruses or other harmful components; or the Services will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

The AI analysis is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Extropolis and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses; damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Website or Services; damages arising from any financial decisions made based on the reports or content; damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; or any other matter relating to the Website or Services.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

By using the Website, you understand that you may be waiving rights with respect to claims that are currently unknown or unsuspected. In accordance with this waiver, you acknowledge that you have read and understand, and hereby expressly waive the benefits of, Section 1542 of the Civil Code of California, and any similar law of any state or territory, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”

Any cause of action or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, otherwise such claim is permanently barred.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Extropolis, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: your access to or use of the Website or Services; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or any dispute between you and a third party.

12. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Website may include links to third-party websites. These Terms apply only to the Wastehunter Website. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites.

13. Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor the Website for compliance with these Terms. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice: restrict or terminate your access; take appropriate legal action; disclose information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request; and remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms.

14. Force Majeure

Extropolis shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, failure of third-party service providers (including Anthropic, Stripe, and our hosting provider), internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or power outages.

15. Electronic Communications

By accessing the Website or purchasing Services, you agree to receive electronic communications from us as needed to provide the Services. You agree that any electronic communication from us satisfies any legal requirement that such communication be in writing. Because Wastehunter does not collect email addresses, electronic communications are limited to information displayed on the Website during your session.

16. General Provisions

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Extropolis regarding the Website and Services. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force. No waiver by us shall be valid unless in writing and signed by an officer of Extropolis. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. Headings are for reference only. Any provision that must survive to allow us to enforce its meaning shall survive termination for any reason.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Website and Services shall be resolved first by good faith efforts to negotiate. If those efforts fail, the exclusive forum shall be a state or federal court located in the State of Delaware. You agree to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

The Website and servers are located in the United States. If you reside in another country, these Terms may conflict with local laws. In such a conflict, these Terms will govern to the extent valid and enforceable under applicable United States laws. If you access the Website from other locations, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
